Stefan Spirig, researcher in our Human Retinal Circuits Group receives the ARVO-SWISS Travel Grant for his participation in the ARVO Annual Meeting 2023 in New Orleans after handing in his abstract titled Cell type focused, high-throughput compound screen in human retinal organoids reveals targets to counteract cone photoreceptor degeneration.
ARVO-SWISS offers an annual travel grant to support young scientists to attend the ARVO Annual Meeting.
To be eligible to apply for an ARVO-SWISS travel grant, scientists must fulfill criteria such as being the first author of an abstract accepted for the ARVO Annual Meeting. Selection of winners is based on scientific excellence of the abstract.
