From 26 to 27 September the first International Conference Ethics of Engineering Life (ICEEL) takes place in Rome, Italy.
The conference invites stakeholders from the scientific, medical, ethical, political, cultural and religious world across generations into a collaborative discourse about the ethical challenges the field of synthetic biology will be facing in the future. Invited speakers will present the latest research related to engineering life and participate in panel discussions with other speakers and stakeholders.
On 27 September, Botond Roska and Hendrik Scholl will both give a talk during the ICEEL about vision restoration and the clinical perspective on gene therapy.
The conference will be streamed from the premises of Vatican Radio, in Rome in the direct neighborhood of Castel Sant'Angelo. Scholars and scientists from around the world are welcome to participate in this event online.
