We are very pleased to announce that Magdalena Renner (Head of the Human Organoid Platform) and Cameron Cowan (Head of the Scientific Computing Platform) have received the Pfizer Research Prize for their work on linking retinal diseases to human retinal and retinal organoid cell type. Their paper “Cell Types of the Human Retina and Its Organoids at Single-Cell Resolution”, focuses on the identification of cellular targets for studying disease mechanisms in organoids and for targeted repair in human retinas.
